Autumn ~ Foyer Transformation

Our foyer has needed a little help but has not really been high on the priority list until I started seeing all the gorgeous fall decorations & room designs being posted all over ‘blogland’. So I did a quick little update & I’m happy to say, “I think it looks better”! The entrance to the side foyer originally was just cement that was worn & pretty ugly  plain ….this is the outside of the foyer before

I added a quick coat of BM exterior “gray” paint to the cement
DSCN2220With a little bit of paint & about an hour of time ~ you can have a new look!

Now, as you go right inside that door ….you would have seen this a week ago
foyer before 2
I added my dining room curtains (now the dining room windows are empty), a rug from Marshals on clearance for $35, moved the bench, added my great grandmother’s chair, accessories & mums!

I had some fun with this last picture….I found the “sharpen” button on my photo editor ... I’m sure it is not “politically correct” in the photography world but I think it's fun! What do you think? You like? Leave me a comment below, I would love your feedback!
PS. completed barn doors for the bookcase are coming soon…..a small problem hanging them. Lets just say, my dad and I dropped them….Sad smile
